NAL Resources produces approximately 40,000 boe per day (60% weighted toward oil and natural gas liquids) and manages this production on behalf of an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Manulife Financial Corporation, a major Canadian financial institution. There are currently more than 300 dedicated team members working at NAL in Western Canada. Our core areas of operation are located in southeastern and southwestern Saskatchewan, and central and northwestern Alberta. NAL operates the Sylvan Lake and Sturgeon Lake gas plants in Alberta.
Our production outlook projects a 66% weighting in crude oil/natural gas liquids and 34% weighting in natural gas. Our Alberta operations produce a mixture of liquid-rich natural gas and light, primarily sweet oil from multiple geological formations. In Saskatchewan, we produce light and sweet crude oil from the Viking and various Mississippian aged formations.
